Parramatta. Plan to attract business

Parramatta City Council expects to implement a plan to attract business in the 2100/12 financial year, to stimulate demand in industries with a real interest in being in Western Sydney but not yet present, said council’s CEO, Dr Robert Lang. He said the plan was premised on the view that the CBD, Rydalmere and Westmead are the three most strategically important employment hubs in the local government area because they house the industries that will do the “heavy lifting” for Parramatta's economy in the future.
