$1.15 million for a cycleway and pathway

Council has allocated $1.15 million in 2008/09 for the construction and completion of a major section of the Parramatta Valley Cycleway over the Gasworks Bridge to the northern side of the Parramatta River. Also, the pathway will provide a direct connection along the southern foreshore allowing RiverCat passengers to walk to historic houses, in Harris Park.
